Which feed?

My 16.1hh 5 Year old show mare needs slightly more condition and the feed she is currently on seem's to have done all it can at the minute.

Her current feed is one round scoop of Alpha-a oil and one round scoop of Baileys number 4 coniditoning cubes. She has two of these per day.

I am considering adding an extra feed such as Baileys Outshine or Cooked cereal to her feed? Just to give her that little extra show condition. What do you guys think...

She is also up to date with dentist, worming etc.

I'd go with micronised linseed, its fab stuff. You can buy it mail order in 20kg sacks from Charnwood Mill.

Somone also recommended Masham Micronized Feeds Mixed Flakes to me also, does anybody have any experience of these?

Is she getting the recommended rate of topline cubes??

also you can feed alot more of alpha a oil than you are doing. When i spoke to dengie they advised giving my 15hh up to 5 scoops a day.
