So have obviously got to get a fly rug for Alee as it lookes as though she is getting sweet itch.
I can not afford a boet blanket so have had a look on ebay and these are what I have found. Which one would be best?

Sorry but I tried various ones but they still allow the horse to get bitten and it made him rub the exposed areas especially his ears.I have a snuggyhood sweetitch and he looks fabulous. The only problem is I could do with two as they have to be washed every couple of weeks ,I keep him in during the day anyway and put on one of the rubbish rugs while I wash and dry his good rug. It is expensive but worth it

I've just recieved a very nice rug of ebay, made by the seller themselves, half the price of a boett, but better quality than the pagony. Will send you the link if you want.

I got away with the rambo protector last year, for mild sweet itch. Since feeding the marmite this year I've not even had to have that fly rug on, but I think I will when the midges get worse.

The divoza version on a boett rug is practically identical and works just as well, and is half the price.
I have one if you want to look at it, you can try it on Alee if you like but I would think it would be a bit small, its small on Axey but I only use it to keep him clean lol!
