Weatherbeeta because my horse has the full complement of Wb stable rugs and I know they fit her well, the other that I know fits is the Rhino but it's more expensive! I'd be willing to try a Premier one, but Mark Todd stable rugs don't fit, and I won't touch Shires or Masta.
However if you're asking for opinions for a horse of yours, it's a different matter!
I love my weatherbeeta full neck rugs, I've got the stable combo and also a turnout - can't remember the model! I find that they don't move or rub and are always toasty warm! They also fit my rather chunky mare really well, when I have found that others pull across her chest and shulders.
I love my Rhinegold Kentucky full neck. I HATE Rhinegold stuff as I find it cheap and nasty, however this rug has been brilliant. Had it 2 years and it still looks brand new. Really cosy, good fittings, never slips, has that outer which repels stains / shavings etc. And it only cost me £25.... You can get them on Ebay.
Weatherbeeta are nice because the neck isn't restrictive.
The only problem I found with my 300gm Weatherbeeta full neck rugs is they don't fit in the washing machine (Dyson) so I had to have them professionally cleaned at the end of the season, whereas ideally I like to wash stable rugs at least every other week - they get so much smellier than turnouts!
I did vote Masta but then realised that my fav stable rug is in fact a Shires!!! I really wasn't sure about buying this brand as I just assumed it 'cheap' and wouldnt last on my beast but I have well and truly eaten my words. I cannot remember the model that I bought but I got it last winter and its navy with mustard binding and is an extra heavy weight and wore amazingly well. I am actually loking forward to getting it back out!!!!
We use the FAL dual purpose rugs, so they wear those in their stables. If we don't change the rug weight wise we still always remove the rug, give them a groom and then replace the rug morning and night. So they don't stand in the same rug without it being lifted and replaced. If it is really cold and we are leaving the same rug on, we would fold it back and groom, then fold it forward and groom so they keep a lovely warm rug on.
We use the ones with the detachable hoods too, so have the option as to whether to use them or not.
