So it looks like a half numnah will be added to my Badminton shopping list.

Which half numnah would you reccomend?

I like the look of http://www.saddlepadsfromnuumed.com/products_numahs1.html (3rd on down, but also think the 4th one looks nice

and http://www.indigo-saddlery.co.uk/for-horse/numnahs-and-saddlecloths/le-mieux-lambskin-half-pad-numnah?zenid=627hmf2dk45jjfevq0nf7p1o00

Or are there any others you would reccomend?

The saddle has been checked by a master saddler btw.

I'm going to go for a brown pad so it doesn't look too much like a dead sheep ;):p

There is a big fashion for the fur trim round the back of the saddle, but be careful with this. My horse physio is NOT keen on those as often the saddle sits on the seam of the fur and numnah which causes a ridge under the saddle and a sore back.

She said its like you having to sit on a pencil. So if you get one, make sure there is plenty of room for the saddle not to overlap onto the fur trim.

This is something I wanted to check when I buy one and try it.
The same saddler is coming back to the yard soon to check someone else's saddle so will ask him just to check the fit of the half numnah :)
