Cold weather, soaking wet haynets, feedbuckets to wash. Winter is here. What is the best protection for the poor hands which are already starting to feel sore?

I have no idea, but if you find the answer pleaselet me know!!! lol. I have used Garnier foot cocoon before, that was good and I think thair hand cocoon was good too - or just use the foot cocoon on your hands.........

Little man was prescribed Aveeno for his excema from the hospital, sister rubbed it on his skin, loved how her hands felt, can be bought from Tesco! However she has office hands, all the creams i have rubbed into little guy over the yrs havnt helped my rough calloused mits, lol!

dipro-base cream from dr is really really good! I have all the horsey stuff and I work in a lab wearing latex gloves all day so my hands really take a battering. They were all cracking and bleeding but the dipro base is brilliant. Comes in a massive pump container too and is much cheaper for a prescription than a lot of creams.

Avon's Dry Skin SOS is the ONLY thing that works for me.. it's really thick though so you have to put it on when you go to bed every night.

Aqueous Cream from Boots, its about £5.00 for a big tub that lasts about 6months. I've used it for the past 3years and never had crcked hands - its not greasy either.

I use Body Shop almond oil hand rescue treatment - quite thick so best to put it on before bed but it's the only thing that's rescued mine when they start splitting, etc.
