zak gets called an aristocrat because he walks along like a really posh gentlemen!!He does gets loads of comments on how pretty and lovely he is and id like to think he has the wow factor....but probably not
There are so many on here that are gorgeous i couldnt possibly pick them out!!
I have to agree with Tia. There are very few horses on here with the potential to be real WOW horses...and there are probably none that I would rate as there yet
I can think of a few in the 'real' world...
David McPherson's Pilgrim
Arko
Cavalor Cumano
Mozart Des Hayettes
Locarno
Shutterfly
These are all horses that are not just good they are amazing.....and more importantly THEY know it too
Hmmm........one man's "Wow!" is another man's "...nice horse"
To me Wow! is something I can't take my eyes off, we have one along the road here, totally not my sort of horse at all, but everytime I see him I still think "Wow!" even though he's got burrs in his mane, is dusty and his feet need a trim.
What is it? A huge, black percheron stallion, he just oozes "Look at me" yet, to someone else he is just a big, black carthorse.

Agree with that. Everyone that meets our old chestnut at work tells us he oozes presence and knows he is hansome, personally I don't see it, maybe I'm too used to him now.
Though our other chestnut, that was pts, really did ooze presence to me and he knew he was gorgeous, but others didn't think so.
For me there is nothing on here that really wows me. I will look out for a few horses when their pics are posted though, such as Chocolate and Bossanova (not that we get many of him now, hint hint)

Lol, I doubt you'd think he looks 'wow' now, he's been out in the field for 3 months and looks rather fat and hairy!!!
I rode him today with his new shoes on and I have to say, he did make me go wow as he suddenly transformed from shuffly old stiff thing to mega pony when I made my medium trot noise. He powered off round the arena, me totally out of control but with the biggest smile ever

Hmm... good question... Oh, I know! What's that gorgeous little TB mare called... the really, really stunning bay.... Oh, yes, I remember... Papa Frita!!
too...TBH I have been told by quite a few people, he is a nicely put together cob and really catches the eye....plan to post some pics soon! One that I have seen on here is 'Piebaldsparkle's' coloured cob, and in the flesh she really does have that 'wow' about her!

Thanks _OC_ you're too kind, DJ is gorgeous too, and a much more sensible colour.
I only brought my yearling because that 'Wow factor' nothing else. I started bidding within 30seconds of first setting eyes on him and within a 100 seconds he was mine.
I think theres a difference between 'Wow' and presence.
I remember watching Arko when he was 6 or 7 and Robert Whitaker was riding him as Nick was still broke, even back then everyone went to the side of the ring just to watch him pop around a 1.20. I think it really helps if the horse is a stallion, that just gives them so much more presence. I've seen some world class horses jump and they don't all make you go WOW, so do you really need the WOW to make them a very good horse?
Definitley, without a doubt Patches' Oliver. I don't know why but I really do like him and always look at their pictures (and wish I was small enouh to ride him!! LOL)
