Which high fibre nuts to use in a snack-a-ball?

As the title says - just trying to find out which are the highest fibre nuts on the market to put in my mares snack-a-ball when I leave her for the night.

I have always used spillers high fibre cubes in mine - horse loves them and they are just the right size so don't fall out too fast or not at all!!

If I could get them from my local supplier I would use the Badminton fibre nuggets

I use spillers High Fibre cubes, pony loves them and they are a good size to get in and to come out.

I stuff my ball with 2 cups of grass nuts and 2 handfuls of dried grass.

I have alfa hi fi lite, will that fall out of the ball, coz would rather use that??????????

It should do - I have just started to add some chaff into the ball with the cubes to cut down the expense a bit, and it all mixes up together and falls out like that.

I have TopSpec FibrePlus nuts at the moment.

Badminton ones good, I also chop carrots and apples up and put them in mine

I've got some Dodson & Horrell Safe and Sound at home, will give that a try, mixed with the Dengies Hi Fi Lite see how that goes while investigating which of your suggestions have the highest fibre content.

Everyone at my yard (from my fat cob to the TB dressage horse) uses Highlights Hi-Fibre Horse and Pony Nuts in their treat balls, they're really good value and just as good as the more expensive brands (IMO)

it depends if you want low starch, low sugar etc. I did a little research when I chose mine and found these 3 as the best:

Found some, hope they fit, will try tonight. The Safe & Sound didn't work

but I discovered that Ella knows what a Snack-a-ball is!!!!

Can't wait to see her play with it.
