which inhand classes do you think would suit?

am just wondering what kind of classes he might suit, hes a welshxwarmblood, but is unregistered

Best youngster, best turned out, best driving type? Can you pop him in a cob class? Obviously, none of those need him to be registered. Mountain and moorland type?

as i will be going with my OH as he is showing in the coloured classes, but the only class i can see is the unaffiliated open inhand pony

He is a super cutee !!
It depends on the size of the show and how many classes or sub catogories. I would try Unregistered M & M as this often allows p/b's or Youngstock to start with. At this age its all about experience for him which is invaluable regardless as to which class.

Yikes - just read through the schedule. I thought you were thinking smaller local show. For inhand you really dont have any other choice. Do you know the line of the welsh in him ? It would always be a big plus to get him registered as a part bred welsh.

unfortunately that is my local show lol, im not sure of his breeding my OH got him for me for my xmas pressie

if he is a wb x welsh then he needs to have his feathers and all fluff off,mane pulled and plaited.

To reg him welsh part bred you would need to know his parentage

I would really wait until a smaller show and going foot perfect

my first thought was mountain and moreland but he is quite cob looking. when older and in work maybe cob or hunter classes.

he is a good boy who does as he is told for me, he just like to take the P with other people and there are very few other shows locally to me
