**which is the better rug??**

horseware rugs are the only rugs I bother with now after the money ive previously wasted on rugs which rub, slip or leak. I use 600 light weight rugs but for somnething heavier, I woukd def go for the 1200, really worth it for the extra strength of fabric and will not leak.

My horse has the 600D medium turnout. Its been brilliant. He has been turned out in all sorts of weather in this and he's never come in cold or wet, although when it froze I just out a medium stable rug underneath it to keep him extra cozy :D

1200D all the way, my old 600d has been patched up that many times!! Whereas (hope I'm not tempting fate here!!) my 1200D is still going strong without a single repair, I've just bought another for my youngster too! The extra money is so worth it, otherwise you'll likely be having to pay the extra in repair bills anyway!!! But I do swear by Amigo's I love them.

Btw if you're after a 6'9 or 7' I know of some on a really good offer, if they have any left!!!

1200d def!!!

If you go on mole Valley farmers they`ve got the blue 1200d with hood medium for around £50 i cant see how being black means shops can charge £40+ more but .....

LOL!! That's the offer I was on about!!! I've gotten one it's looks very smart!!! But they only have 6'9 or 7' available at that price.

I've tried most rugs including the most expensive but have used the Amigo 1200d for past 2 years and it's as good as new - no nicks and all stitching secure. The extra bonus is that it has never rubbed my big shouldered mare and most other brands were too tight and also too short in the body. I'm intending replacing all my rugs as they wear out.

I love Amigo's and her wardrobe is now complete with them!

I have the 600d medium and it's been waterproof in the heaviest of rain and she lives out on a hillside 24/7 in it! The only thing I have found is that compared to her 1200d heavyweight the 600d medium, where it is thinner material, leaves a gap at her neck on top even with the exra flap bit. I think next time I would go for the 1200d medium.
