Which kind of weather scares you?

At the moment Wind- had a bad dream the other night about a storm that blew the roof off the stables!

Fog can be spooky sometimes- we occasionally get 'sea fog' which is really bad, but other than that I don't mind it.
I grew up on the North Sea which put me right off fog for life! I hate driving in it but am OK with walking in it etc.

fog. (when I'm on my own). I get so disorientated, it gives me the creeps. I got lost once... in a 6 acre field. Couldn't for the life of me find the gateway! For that matter couldn't see 3 ft in front of you. Hate the feeling.

Won't ride out when it's icy or windy, can't ride out in the fog as straight onto roads.

Fog is creepy tho! Used to keep my horses up in the chilterns and driving up it was seriously thick fog but at the yard, which was very high it was lovely and sunny. I thought I'd work my girl in the school which had a lovely outlook usually over the valley. As I was riding I became aware of the fog encroaching up the neighbours field and by the time it was by the hedge I decided to finish. I rode her back up the track to the yard, took her in and untacked but when I stepped out of her box the fog was already forming a thick wall at the end of the yard. It was so weird, it never came onto the yard, just sat there, freaked me out totally. Luckily her field and my car were the other direction and still sunny as I could not have made myself step into it!!!

Thunder and lightening. Got caught in a storm out hacking about half an hour from home in the woods, my pony was terrified, its the only thing in 13 years of owning him that has made him want to bolt, thankfully my friends TB held it together and we all got home safely albeit like drowned rats!
