- am thinking Hunter Torlundy (but not that keen) or Dubarry (Bank manager will flip!) or Ariat Grasmere - (but would prefer wellies rather than riding boot) - Tuffa Suffolks don't fit

i have the hunter torlundy they aren't as pretty as some but they are the most comfy boots ever had fine to ride in and keep feet lovely and warm, friend as dubarrys and her feet get cold
 
I like my Joules Marsh's had to go up a foot size to get the calf width I needed but the bigger foot size gives me room for thick socks so all works well for me.

I am quite short with size 4 feet, my leather riding boots are xw calves to give you some idea. I tried the Dubarrys and could not get them on with my jeans. I now have a pair of Barbour leather boots which are fine and keep my feet lovely and dry, also just bought a pair of Hunter Blencathra, they are not full length, go to mid calf and are sheepskin lined, lovely warm and toasty. Can get my jeans into both pairs.
 
I have small feet and short fat legs. Tuffa Suffolks fit me fine, Dubarry's do but are a little more snug around the calves - OK with breeches but wouldn't be able to tuck jeans into them.
 
hmmm the suffolks were fine on the calf, but couldn't get my jeans tucked in around the ankle - in fact couldn't even get them to feel comfy with breeches on - they were really narrow on the ankle - my ankles aren't that fat!!!! Might try the Dubarry Tipperary which seem to be for chunkier legs

I love my dubbarry's but the calves aren't massively wide - they're loose on mebut I wear kiddie width riding boots..
 
Cant remember the name, got them from the factory shop and not sure they still do the same style. They are generous as they have a wide elastic insert at the rear, not very attractive but comfy, think the current style is much neater in design and the elastic insert hidden. They are not as long as Dubarrys but do come to the top of my calves.
