Which Leg Wraps

I want to buy some leg wraps, which do you recommend??????

Thermatex Cordura covered ones - dry out wet legs and don't get bedding stuck to them. Wash well and last forever (I speak as a grey show cob owner who does a LOT of washing!)

Thermatex would be my first choice, just not sure weather to have the cordura covered or the normal ones

I have two sets of thermatex cordura covered ones and they are fab.

How long can they be left on for?

Indefinitely - they are secured by Velcro straps and you can't really put them on too tight! I have a friend who washes off her horse's legs every night and leaves them on all night with no problems.

I too have thermatex leg wraps and they are fantastic, the dry the legs well and keep them warm without being over warm if that makes sense!!

Wish I never read this .I have now asked for a price on an ebay shop for a bossy bib,sportabac turnout boots and thermatex cordura boots.Hope I get a good price!

I have the thermatex ones too, they are fab. I now leave them on baron every night after washing his legs off. So far this year he has no mud fever, which is a first. And they keep him nice a tosty.

The ones without cordura will drive you MAD as you will spend all your time picking shavings/bedding off them - with cordura theyre a doddle...

Premier equine do a pair for about £14, they are very nice.

I have the equilibrium stable chaps for Star. They stay put well and dry the legs.

We use the Cordura covered Thermatex leg wraps and they are fantastic. Touch wood we've never had a case of mud fever in six years.

I have the normal thermatex ones and love them, traveled my boy in them the other day to and they stayed on perfectly and he normaly trashes travel boots!
