I am thinking of getting Poppy some magnetic boots to help heal her tendon sheath injury. Who has used them? Do they work? What make have you used? and When and for how long do you have them on? Lots of questions Sorry!!!!

I couldn't be with out my bioflow magnetic boots. My boy believes in puffing up at the least excuss, esp hard ground, so lives out in them overnight through the summer (I think the suggestion is that you build up to this amount of time gradually). The great thing with the Bioflow (tendon wraps) boots is that they are a robust mesh construction that means he never sweats in them. Even if I leave them on him on the hottest of summer days ( unlike previous boots I have used). They are easy to fit and hard wearing. T has had his for over 2 years wearing them all through the summer and they still look like new, when I was them!

I found some on the link below

Highly recommend N.E.W ones. I have two pairs and use them for turn out, box rest and hacking (can't school with them on). You have to build up your horses's 'tolerance' of them over a couple of weeks but you can then leave them on for up to 23 hours a day. when my last horse was injured and wasn't healing I tried them and even the vet was impressed

I use them in winter if his legs are dry (so in the stable). But he tends to need them less. I don't think that I would want to turn out in a muddy field wearing them, but apart from that I would have no problem using them when ever, except I don't use them for riding. I normally use them on his hinds, but when the ground is as hard as it is at the mo he has them on the hinds at night and the fronts during the day. They work a treat and really help to keep the swelling down.
