Does'nt have a ramp but two doors on the back...the ramp is tiny and is a slide out and drop down thing..and if you people know the make do you also on the off chance know what size of horsie they fit in them

Do you mean a bateson ascot trailer with the american doors option??? otherwise dont think any lorry would be low enough for horses to just step into ....

Barn doors are an optional extra on any of the bateson trailers, I have a bateson boston with barn doors, love it wouldn't have anything different, never use the ramp, horses soon learn just to step on,

I have the Bateson with the barn doors too and second Quickfire's comment - both of mine just walk onto it no probs - no need for the ramp.

Its a lovely trailer - light inside, inviting and it stays really cool in the sunshine too! No probs leaving them unattended in the sun at county shows while you go and have your cool-off ice cream!

Before I bought a Bateson with the normal ramp I used one with the barn doors & tiny ramp. As has been said by another I never bothered with the ramp, the horse just stepped up & in. The floor of a Bateson is lower than on many others. An upside to the barn doors is that if you wanted to collect a pallet of something a forklift can load straight into the back for you as there is no ramp preventing him.
