Which male horsey occupation is most attractive to females?

All the young farriers round our way seem to be long haired and into heavy metal - not my cup of tea. I've gone for vet as I like a bit of intellect - not that the others aren't but you're guaranteed it with a vet and the money you'd save is potentially a lot more

I've seen enough of mine recently that I would be surprised if my OH thought I was having an affair with him if he wasn't much older than me and married to my instructor

That family make a fortune out of me. He had two gorgeous young trainees with him a couple of years ago but one moved to NZ and the other has left the practice now

Such a shame, they were always the silver lining to the cloud of my horsey's ailments.

there is something to be said for a farrier - if you want a bloke with big arms to chuck you about a bit!!!!!!

I wouldnt go out with a trainer or any horsey bloke again i dont think. although sure i could be convinced by a really nice farrier or vet !! but not a rider or trainer etc.

Surely it isn't THAT attractive to be constantly dressed in what basically resembles a christmas elf outfit with a crash hat

PMSL, sooo funny!

Personally farriers are too arrogant for me, they smell of old feet and cant work mobile phones properly.

Most male trainers arent into females and if they are they are into too many females.

Vets you can have a good conversation with but are always late, have to disappear in the middle of the night and come back stinking of horse sh!t and covered in pus.

So in short, none of them are that great!

Funny thread though

Hm. All our people are female, apart from the farrier (and really, no thanks! lol). There's the Back Man, but he's not quite my type, much as I love a chat with him.

.... I think a physio type chap, that way your horse and your self and your wallet get the benefit

Bloody farriers unfortunately. It's a terrible affliction for this female rider... Not going into any detail as I know a few of you in RL who may not know ALL my murky secrets (and yeah MS I mean you!)...

Not a vet. They've had their hands up places. They might not want to go back in the water so to speak.

Funny you should say that, I have always wondered about Gynocologists, is it like a busmans holiday when they get home to the missis

I put other, as I used to go out with a jockey. He and his mates got loads of women. And still I didn't see it coming when he went off with someone else!

Haha you lot make me laugh!

If straight men only knew what an absolute GOLDMINE the equestrian world is for available females...

Well I am male, straight and single, so I'm not sure I would agree!

And even the most hideous-looking and arrogant male showjumpers do surprisingly well with the ladies - this has often baffled me. is there really such a lack of straight men in show jumping?

[/ QUOTE ]

There are some _very_ handsome male showjumpers around, especially in my area...
