If you were nearer you could have a tub of Oestraban to try!!!! Didnt work for my mare. BUT I wasnt surprised as i never felt her behaviour was hormone linked. But as we werent sure it was worth a try. Really to eliminate it as a possibility!

Um... vet said that none of them are worth the money.
If you are thinking it is her hormones perhaps get them checked or her ovaries scanned. Or try regumate.

i swear by global herbs Frisky mare a little mare i had last year was a complete nightmare you couldnt get near her for teeth and legs coming at you !!! her seasons were also very long when you got close enough to ride her she would buck and throw her self around.
so i tryed her on this (i am not normally a supplement person) and what a difference pony turned in to saint let my 3 year old groom her and was save enough for her to ride her. she even won a first ridden class on it. although when i ran short devail pony came back!! so when straight to shop and brought more !!! and not that expensive!!

I used Wendals Moody Mare herbs. They make a big difference to my mare.
One week I ran out and the farrier commented on how bad my mare was. She is usually good. With out the herbs he had to put her away, and work on other horses between feet!!

Aleeta my 4 year old mare gets the global herbs TB calmer. Although her problems are probably aged based and not hormone based since she has been on this calmer I wouldn't have been able to tell behaviour wise that she was in season. She tends to get s bit tetchy and dfficult to handle when in season but the calmer has chilled her out all round.

I use NAF's Oestress and again have noticed the difference when she has come off it!

a friend of mine had a horse who went very hormonal after being put into foal and she used NAF oestress and it worked wonders. Also gave it to her other mare who can be very moody and has helped her out alot!
