I've decided to treat myself to a new jumping saddle, been savying up so budget is generous, not restricted. My horse isn't hard to fit but I am, at only 5 feet 1 and a small size 8. So I need saddle flaps that aren't going to drown me and my knee to be in the right position.
I have tried Devocoux and was reasonably impressed and sat on Sue Carson saddles at Hickstead (not on a horse) which impressed me as far as I could tell. But what other brands are good? I'd rather go for a brand than a general saddle fitter as the range of sizes I'll get are bigger, whereas saddle fitters just tend to sell you one that fits the horse.
Any recommendations/opinions?
