I have bought a new bridle and need another bit. I have had a Sprenger Kk Ultra Bradoon but sold it to a friend of mine who was desperate for one. I also have a Neue Schule Tranz Angled Lozenge Bradoon Bit.

Horse likes both. Both horse & I love the Sprenger, but love the price a little less (well Horse doesn't care obviously!)

I look after my stuff very well, so don't have a problem paying out for good quality but I don't know which one is *actually* better.

Or does it even matter? Shall I stop being ridic and get one with some work?
 
They do look ever so similar!! The joins between the side bars and the lozenge look slightly smoother on the sprenger than the ns. The sprenger is sold in cm and the ns in inches - so perhaps decide which bit depending on which sise would be best? ie if he is a bang on 5.5inches then get the ns, but if he could use one v slightly smaller then go with the sprenger cm sized one?
