Which order do people tend to think its best to get checks done in?

My new horse arrived last Sunday and has settled in beautifully but I'm aware that he has a few niggles so want to get these sorted before starting to compete him.

He has a new saddle which fits much better than the one his previous owners rode him in. He's having his teeth done tomorrow as they had been done by a cowboy who didn't do a great job. His feet are being reshod on Friday, in my completed unqualified opinion I think they look too long in the toe.

Not sure whether to get his back checked immediately as well or whether to give him a week or so to see how he feels after his teeth and feet have been done.

Personally, I tend to do what I can, when I can. Teeth are a priority, and if feet are due to be done (or look like they're needing sooner rather than later, asap). If I had money and time to get the back looked at, then fine. But IMO another week or so is not the end of the world. It sounds like you've done your prioritising much the way I would have.
