Which plastic / poly jumps?

As title really. I am planning in buying a small course of say 6 to 8 quite simple fences - have been looking at Jump4Joy and Polyjumps, and on the whole prefer jump4joy (I don't really like the polyjump stands, which have those circular cups that I always find a bit awkward). Does anyone have any opinion on quality, value for money and are there any other brands worth looking at?

I' got plyjumps and bought them many years(20years?) ago and they are still fine .I do cover the ones that are in the outdoor school in the winter and get them out when I want to use them.The indoor school ones stay out all the time stayed good apart from the yellow wg.Strangely the colours have stayed good apart from the yellow which has faded.

I have jump4joy ones, these have been outside in all weathers for about 6 years now and are still in great shape, a little faded, and some of the heights have worn off, but overall cracking jumps.

I'd recommend viewing whatever you like in person. I have a plastic horse head hollow jump and after about 8 years the frost got in and they demolished soon after. I bought another set and have to bring them in each time it gets cold, but I liked the heights they had and they don't need jump cups. They aren't probably the most durable though.

I also have a plastic jump wing that is solid, not sure of the make, it's quite old and was a hand down from a livery that didn't need jumps anymore. Those are great, they are just about indestructible Id say.

I personally prefer wooden jump wings just for looks, but I think my solid plastic ones (Similar to jump4joy) are doing great.

It depends on what you want to do - but IMO the Jump4Joy are more versatile. You won't see poly jumps at most shows and you can get odd things like small fillers etc more easily from jump4joy to make a basic set more interesting. Poly jumps are really just stands and poles. I also don't like the fact the cups are integral to the stands so if you are thrown into a stand or hedgehog block you are more likely to get hurt. But on the other hand with Jump4joy you have to factor in the cost of cups, and replacing the odd ones which always seem to vanish no matter how careful you are. Don't bother with lightweight poles - totally useless and potentially dangerous because they come off so easily.

I have a set of polyjump's Ive had them 15ish years, the red multi cup and the triangle shaped blocks have faded to white, though the red square blocks are still red, the white and blue are fine... the poles all still look like new, though they have hardly been used, I think I have the pro poles
