mayomats. this is the third yard i've rubber matted and i wouldn't use anything else now. thicker, therefore warmer, lighter, been down 3 yrs now and as new.
Definitely Mayomats (horsecomfort) Think the website is agri-rev.co.uk for some reason!!
My oldest ones are 11 years old and i couldn't tell you which ones were the 11 year old ones and which were the 2 year old ones! They have moved house 4 times now and would never use anthing else (have used the equi-mats, solid rubber, liquid rubber and the porous ones.) Everything else has been dumped in gateways as they have been no good for the stables!
When we were at DIY we had cowmats from mole valley! They are much cheaper than rubber mats specifically aimed at horses and are also much thicker (about 1" thick).. They were brilliant and still in good condition when we sold them.. definatley reccomend
I have Fieldguard mats, expensive but worth every penny. The newest are 7 years old and the oldest are about 20 years old and still going strong, almost as good as new.
I have no idea of the make, but it was supplied by 'Carpetpac' who are based just outside Solihull. They also advertise on Ebay. I have had their mats down for several years without any problems & they are reasonably priced. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/18MM-STABLE-MATS-H...=item56391298f7
