Hi there again!

I am looking at buying my mare a few new turnout rugs as she'll be wintering out next year. She currently has amigo's but they have removable neck covers which are good but when it rains she gets wet!

I like the mark todd's alot but I had a JHL and it was too baggy around her neck, I think there pretty much the same cut etc.

I love horseware one's but she had some Rhino rugs but they weren't very forgiving on the sizing... So they had to go I brought 5ft 9, when she actually needed a 6'0. :(

So what do people think to things like weatherbeeta and shires or even robinsons own? I'm a bit loathed to touch Masta again as I had two rugs that ripped and the neck cover strap broke, all within one season  and my horse isn't an adimant rug destroyer!

Oh BTW she's a 15.0hh TB mare and she is well built with a reasonably good chest. I would attach a photo but don't know how :p

Premier Equine all the way! https://www.premierequine.co.uk/

Or, if you're on more of a budget, Axiom rugs from eBay are really good value and excellent quality for the money http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AXIOM-1200D-TARTAN-NAVY-300gm-TURNOUT-HORSE-COMBO-6-0-/110995750249?pt=UK_Horse_Wear_Equipment&hash=item19d7dcbd69

Wouldn't touch Robinson's own with a barge pole! They're very badly made. Shires are pretty good. Personally I don't like Weatherbeeta as I had one fall apart on me, but lots of other people I know love them, so maybe I just got a bad one??

Thanks for the replys so far...

I was going to buy her a Premier Equine a few days ago one of the medium weight ones as I thought they look pretty well built and sturdy and I've never had a bad word about them...

However they had no 6'0 at all and when I emailed to ask when they were restocking their response was Aug 2013! :(

I might have to have a ferret about on ebay to try and maybe get one!

I bought a beautiful castle rug combo that fits my tb perfectly. It has a different fitting around the withers don't know how to explain it but it doesn't rub and has a fantastic tail flap. I love my amigos and personally haven't had any issues re necks. I like the look of the weatherbeeta orican freestyle or whatever it's called but have found they can be a bit too generous around the shoulders for my girl. I also lust over fal pro.
