What saddle cloth for dressage? I know it is supposed to be white but does it have to be a square cloth or saddle cut?

Not going to be doing anything for a while but want to get prepped with ebay bargains so I am on the look out.

Does anyone have any pics of their piebald cobs kitted out for dressage that I can nosey at?

Square is considered most appropriate for dressage unless on ponies when a numnah is more accepted. It also depends on the level, doing up to prelim unaffiliated I wouldn't of thought you would get sniffed at in either :)

As long as you are neat and it isn't an eventing shape you should be fine.

Yes it can be either.

I use a square because it balances out his larger barrel! Some skinnier horses look better in a saddle shaped one, but most, I think, look better in a square.
