I've seen a second hand saddle leather dressage saddle I like the look of at Saddleworld, but haven't had Ken Lydon Dykes out yet to try it on my horse, and a friends says it sounds like it may be over-priced at £800.

I've read that Clive Bending and Peter Husband are very good, and have been recommended Minster Saddlery. I've got a saddle to part-exchange is poss too.

Anyone want to offer any previous experiences good or bad. I'd be very grateful! :)

Never used any of those saddlers when I lived in Kent but have bought from saddleworld before and know that the saddles are usually open to offers. The one I bought was up for £550 but got it for less :)

I've had Peter Husbands out and found him very good, I didnt buy my original saddle from him but he spent about an hour with me, watched me ride and refolcked where needed, he also gave me lots of advice and told me what he was doing etc.

I've heard of the other two you mentioned but dont have any experience with either of them.
