Which show class to enter my horse into

Can anyone advise as to what classes i could enter my friesian cross into, he is 5yrs old, 16hh, he his a heavyweight, all black.i do not wish to hog him but not sure if plaiting is the answer either.............any suggestions

foreign breeds, riding club type, in hand horse of driving type. He can be shown unplaited or perhaps with a running plait. Depends on how friesian he looks.

he was trimmed when i got him but im growing them back out, and he will def have alot of feather.
