Which sites to place ad for loan offered?!

(Hope this is ok and within rules!)

I just went to place a loan ad on horsemart - £16!! Which I think is very unfair as it's not a sale so I won't be making any money from it. I wouldn't mind paying a token amount, but I think that is quite excessive.

Where do people who are wanting a loan/share look? I guess it'd have to be local places, tackshops and such like.
 
What size/type of horse do you have, and where are you located?

I only ask as my friend's (some may remember the post on here about Journey to Lands End) horse has just had a health check, so see if she is fully fit for the ride, and she has brusing to the sole, due to her movement, or something similar, so needs 3 months off. So she is looking for something she can have fun with, compete, fun rides etc for the summer. It would not be used for the John o Groates to Lands End, as she wants a true bond with a horse to do it with.

with regards to sites though, freeads is free! I got my lad from freeads, and would look again on there for the next one. And i know a few people use preloved, but i believe there is a slight cost to become a member

I would try local tack shops/feed merchants.

Have you tried Friday-Ad? I don't know their rates but think they are quite reasonable.
