Which size Haybar?

Hay bar owners. Which size do you think I should get for a 14.2hh pony?
She has 4 slices of hay per night.
Do you think the pony size would be okay?

The pony size for sure.
I have got 2 1 full size, 1 pony size, both horses are 16hh and I much prefer the pony size haybar.

Pony size. My 15hh has 3 slices of hay per night and it is just the right size. There is room for more if i need it.

I got the full size for my 14'3 and it was way too big.

Sorry, going to put a spanner in the works!

I have an 11.2 section a and he has a pony haybar and my 15hh TB has a horse one. I wouldn't want to use the pony one for the 15hh horse, its far too small

Definitely the pony size, in my opinion it's huge!!

It's not so about how much hay the pony has but about whether it can reach the hay at the bottom of the haybar. I would give a 14.2hh a pony size.

Pony size. I have 2 pony and 1 horse sized and my 16hh has the horse sized, my 15.1 and 15.2 have pony sized. Much prefer the pony sized. Ours get 4-5 sections a night and it fits in nicely, and they can reach the bottom.
