Which stallion?

I know this can be a bit, how long is a piece of string, question. But are there any stallions out there that people would recommend for a good all-rounder type foal. MUST have a good temperament.

A little about my mare.
15hh, fractionally bum high, and set low in the neck, so would need something to lift up the shoulders in the foal for uphill movement. Shes welsh sec D x TB so can be firey, and at times bolshy and rude, shes loving but the welsh in her takes a hold sometimes! Shes more of a TB build so don't really want a TB as a stallion as would like something of some weight behind it. Plan would be for me to keep and do all sorts with, hunt, show, dressage, jump etc. So a nice even tempered event stallion might suit.

Not at all fussed on colour as I prefer quality and temperament over looks.

She has had 2 foals before (currently 6) but I won't be looking to put her in foal for about 5-10 years time, but want to start doing the research now so when the time comes I am ready.

British stallion would be a bonus, and she is quite a plain mare as far as quality goes, so again I don't need anything overly flashy.

I have NO idea on which stallions are best, but if anyone has any idea on any up and coming stallions then that would be great. The only stallion I have ever said, wow I would like one of his babies is Goshka Ringo (?) but he will be too big for her I think. But a descendant of his maybe?

For an all rounder, rather than pure event, I would go for something like this super chap (Mukhtar Ibn Eternity). H Tobago has done a fantastic job in getting sports horse breeders excited about arab blood again (have a look at him too), but this grey really catches my eye. Arab blood blends so well with both Welsh and TB blood, it's a good old fashioned, tried and tested cross of breeds.

He is one of my favourite stallions too a really lovely horse so he gets my vote.
 
He does look lovely, but not much of an Arab fan. After something a tad bigger too to give a bit of height. The foals she had had are by a cobby/Percheron/tb type and they are just the right build. But no idea how they are going to turn out eventually, and don't know sores exact breeding and mare was bought with foal at foot and I'm foal!
 
My advice? Buy what you want. Not to be terribly blunt but you have listed a list of faults your mare has, that may or may not be improved by the right stallion. You could easily end up with a plain, badly put together foal that no one will ever want. The mare's influence on her foal is much greater than the stallion's so chances are her faults will show up again. You could pick up a nice youngster who will go on and do the things you want to do for less than what breeding will cost you. And at least you can find something with recorded breeding etc. With no history on your mare you have no idea what genetic problems could exist and could show up in your foal.
 
Have you thought about using a Friesian? Pure bred's aren't everyone's cup of tea I know but they do cross very well.

One of my friesian mares had a couple of foal by a TB stallion before I bought her - both have made fantastic allrounders. I've also seen some superb crosses the other way - the stallion owned by the stud has been crossed with TB, Welsh, Arab, Dales, cobs and even a couple of WB mares.

I had thought about this, and it is something I would normally suggest to people. However, I know she throws good looking foals from the previous two, by a bog standard stallion who should have been cut.

My reasoning behind wanting a foal from her to keep is because I don't want anything that has been influenced by other people, as you never truely know what has happened, and they have always been influenced to some degree by people, either in a positive way or another. When I bought her I knew she had never been touched in her 4 years of life, bar to passport and microchip. The stallion was loose in the field and so was natural covering. The satisfaction I have had from knowing she is how she is now (on her good days!) is overwhelming. I know exactly what has happened to her.
The other thing, is that I want her foal to take over from her when she does eventually retire, hence not planning on breeding for another 5-10 years. Was thinking if I put her in foal at 15, knowing she has had 2, that is 1/2 years out to have the foal. Back into work as a 17yo, by the time she is early 20's can slow her down, but by then foal will be backed at 4 and turned away, back and ready for work as a 5yo.

I haven't thought about this lightly. If in 5 years time there becomes some obvious flaws that means she shouldn't be bred from, then I wont. I hate back yard breeders who breed for the sake of a foal and put little or no thought into what they are breeding. I would like to think that this isn't me as I will really think and do research into which stallion is best suited considering her flaws.
 
If you like Goshka Ringo, his most successful offspring is Amour G. He has a cv most plain coloured stallions would envy coupled with great rideability and a gentle nature. I'm not allowed to post links but if you do a search on google you'll find all the info, videos and photos you need.
