Which sun cream???

I have tried no end of sun creams on Jed’s nose but none seem to stop it burning and going scabby

. I would ideally like to bring him in out of the sun during the day but there is no one else in his stable block and he tries to jump out if he's on his own.

So can any of you, who have horses with pink noses prone to sunburn, recommend a good sun cream to stop it?
 
the aussie vet stuff (can't for the life of me remember what it is actually called) but my friend swears by it. I think she also uses one of those fly masks that has a nose net on the end as well.
 
I found the Nextex one good(Think that's how it's spelt....can't look as at the yard! Sorry! ) My cob has a very pink nose....have used a childs Boot's one.......worked!

Bergaderm. Its a mouse that is obsorbed into the skin and won't rub off.

All my family use it as we're alergic to sun cream and its the only one we can use.

Plus its effective for 6hours.

I use a factor 50 at the moment but it rubs off so easily.

Any idea where i can purchase this one from???

E45 Factor 50. I've tried loads and this has proved the best. It is so thick it can last for days. I've found that most others are too runny and disappear after a few hours. It's expensive but worth it as it lasts for ages as you don't have to apply it so often.

have just had an email from my friend and its called Ozvet
 
Childrens waterproof spf 50+

My last mare was photosensitive and I applied sun block 2x a day and she wore an equilibrium muzzle guard. It was a life saver.

She had white stockings too and last year equilibrium brought out sun chaps.

Apart from bringing her in that was the only "management" that worked for her.
