Do you rate the most and why...?

I liked the Isabell Werth when I had one as found it very secure and good for my position, with little room for error...lol... but some prefer the Wintec Pro...but the seat seems flatter and not as deep.....not heard brill reviews about any others..?

Any pros and cons or preferences/good/bad experiences would be welcomed....?

Thanks xx

Before I invested in a leather one I had a thorowgood one, much preferred it to any wintec/ isabell as for me personally those had the stirrup bar in the wrong place so i had to hold my legs very odd just to fit in the saddle!

The thorowgood was excellent value and my friend still has hers and when I sneak a ride on it it does remind me of how well it holds you in

Hope this is of some help although i think its maybe try a few and see!

I also had a Thorowgood dressage, which was amazing to ride in. I had always had Wintec VSD's before, but they just didn't fit my new horse. Glad they didn't as the Thorowgood was so much more comfortable - always had to use a seatsaver with the Wintecs! - and put me into the correct position without me even having to try :)

I had the wintec 500 which was nice but seat not deep, now have wintec isabell werth lovely deep seat and holds you in position this is a plus and a minus however, helps with our position especiall if ou have a weak side like me, but I find using it on my young horse when she's being silly someimes gives me a locked in feeling. Still fantastic tho and so comfy. Best thing to do is go into a horsatack store and try them all out on STU. You don't have to buy from there just sit in them all and see which one suits you better.

I would be using it purely for dressage lessons, dressage competitions and schooling.

For hacking, xc, jumping etc I will be using my g.p hunter.. x

Thanks for the review feedbacks so far.. x

Another vote for the Isabell Werth saddle, I love mine! Alas, it doesn't fit my chunky monkey of a Highland but it does fit our chunky New Forest!
