Hi,
I want to get some trimmers, just for tidying of jaw line etc, but have found there is too much choice! What ones would you recommend? Ideally not more than £30, need to be able to cope with thick pony chin hair though, so if I need to spend a bit more I would rather so I can be sure that what I get can actually do the job.
Thanks!

I have the Liveryman Elements - they are £58 from Robinsons. I have to trim out two very hairy heads - clydie and gypsy cob, plus their bloomers, belly fringes etc in summer for showing and they cope with thick hair very well. I also use them to trim out the section C to convert to a hunter pony and he has very hairy legs for a welshie.

They are a little more than your budget, but I can't recommend them enough as great trimmers for hairy beasties.

I've got Liverman Flare trimmers, you can get them from Ingastone online for about £15 but are normally £20 so within budget. They're really quiet and battery lasts for ages, I use them for trimming my connie who's hair is very wirey and they do the job :)
