Which trimmers?

I have been looking at the liveryman element and masterclip showmates, to be used for trimming feathers, ISH so not too thick, chins, cat hairs and general tidying, which are best or other sugestions not over £65. Preferably cordless.

I have the Element ones, light and handy but they do clip very tight to the skin so if using to tidy up an all over clip you will end up with shorter patches!

Could you not use the guides for a longer cut?

I use the Wahl Pro Series trimmers for tidying legs and whiskers. Found them to be ok.

I find the Liveryman Elements very good, even capable of doing a chaser clip if required (if your normal clippers give out or you have a nervous horse).

Another with the Liveryman Element. I've hunter clipped my TB with them (using the 3mm guards) & trimmed hairy faces etc
To be honest they are the best trimmer /light clipper around & u did a lot of research!

Are there any downsides to the element other than not being able to sharpen the blades?

I have the master clip ones which are very good
