Hi everyone,

Ok, so i need some help deciding. A few months ago a i bought my mare a weatherbeeta taka heavyweight combo rug. I have not had any problems with them before and she has several of their rugs, but it has gone back as it was faulty. (i won't go into details).

I am still waiting for my refund, but now i need to replace it, but don't want to spend more than £100.

I can't decided between the mark todd ultimate heavyweight combo (found it for £99.99 or the bridleway vancouver combo rug (£95.94). I like the strong material, they are both the same weight. The only thing is the mark todd has buckles on the neck cover (i prefer velcro, but this doesn't matter too much).

Can anyone recommend either of these rugs please? At the moment i am having to layer quite alot under her mediumweight, so hope to get a new one within the next week.

Thanks

Premier equine have a sale on at the moment (www.premierequine.co.uk) my girl was lucky enough to be treated to a wardrobe of turnouts from here. I love them and they are very flexible with removable necks. Most are 1/2 price now - Bargin!!

I was in this dilema, after going to my local saddley and looking at them all I went for the JHL in the end and It's fab!

I was a deevy house fan bit they kept ripping, bridleway seemed to have short necks?

Thanks everyone. What a palava! They aren't giving me a refund but they are sending it to be restitched as they can't prove it was faulty! My horse has 15 rugs and this is the only one I have had a problem with. Bit annoyed as now I am stuck without a heavyweight and its due to get really cold :-( luckily I have plenty of rugs to layer, so that will have to do for now :-(
