Mctimmony and Equine Touch... Works wonders with my mare, she always seems to be doing something to herself and has a history of rotating pelvis, she's always much happier after a treatment and goes much better.
With a slight fear of some if not all of you screaming that I couldnt possibly know what I was on about.................. I was always told/taught via university and trainers that to "realign a horses pelvis" Or even spine, you would need a full structural crane or artic lorry to get the force needed, and so anyone who says they can do it with their hands was talking utter Bo***cks!!!!
"I am now cowering in a corner waiting for the backlash"
Exactly what i was told too.... however I use a sports therapist as she can work on muscles which hold the bones in place.... therefore can help any misalignment/unevenness caused by tension.....
None, as parents say, in their job it is only what affects the person, sometimes perfectly happy people have very odd thigns wrong with them.
Most horses will not be the 'ideal' shape but if it's not affecting it, no reason to change.
Also because parents refuse...think they're sceptical enough about human physios nevermind equine ones.
Still horse muscles are a great deal stronger/bigger than human ones so I personally would still be sceptical about a horse physio being strong enough to manipulate muscles that big, but if it works............ hey who am I to argue!!!

Hence I use a physio, and not an underqualified moon man.
I've had an osteo to my horse today. They are a combined chiro and physio...all rolled into one!
I said to her today that I'm very cynical about the whole "re-aligning" thing too and she said that of course she cannot put anything back into place that was displaced as she's only a lightweight next to the horse. What she did say though was that she does certain exercises with the horse to get the horse to actually "fix" itself in the way it responds to the exercises she uses.
Does that make sense? I think I know what she meant.
If your horse has a skeletal problem and you get a physio to treat the muscle spasms that form because of the underlying problem....well they'll just spasm again once the treatment is over as you've not gotten to the root of the problem beneath it all.
Likewise, if you have a chiro out to treat a skeletal problem and your horse has muscle spasms and tightness because of this problem, once the chiro has gone, won't the tightened muscles/spasms just snap the skeletal problem back to where it was before they started?
An Osteo treats both and therefore can treat the muscular symptoms as well as the skeletal cause. Not to mention it's only one fee, instead of using two professionals! ME LIKES THAT!
