Which website is the most popular for advertising horses for sale?

i always look at horse mart or Horse quest. Not a huge fan of Adhorse.

Horsehunter is £2,49 mind if you want to advertise cheaply. Also Freeads is free and that`s where Iv`e had two of my horses from.

I always look on HorseMart or Preloved, or Horsequest but you can't set a location (or I don't know how to).
I know a few horses who have been on HorseMart in the last few months and haven't sold but thats probably more to do with the market/price.

Depends what you are selling really. When I'm looking to buy/browse -
For anything under 4K, allrounds, hacks, riding horses etc then I'd use HorseMart and a couple of the free ones
For eventers, dressagers, show cobs, or anything thats abit more expensive, then I'd look on HorseQuest.

Theres probably a few more paid sites but I've always used them, and get some free adverts done aswell. Also, if you have FaceBook, theres aload of pages/groups where people advertise.

Horsemart!

but... when i was last looking they had a very good search facility where i could narrow down by height, price, area etc- Can you not do that anymore? If so how as i cant figure it out and am trawling through hundreds of no good to me ads!

For some reason it would only narrow down one category but it`s back to normal now, well for me. Maybe try deleting your cookies will reset it?

Its down the left hand side, after the tap for breeds but before gender. If you click on height then a box drops down and you can pick. And age is right down the bottom, after colour.

Hope thats what you meant :)

I put my horse online last night on horse and hound and horsemart and I've had 2 calls so far, one of which was from h&h and not sure about the other. When I was looking I used both these sites.

What's the facebook page called please?

As said above, depends on what type of horse it is! For Pony Club type ponies and horses, then Pony Club Classifieds and Horsequest. For competition animals and top end PC/RC allrounders then Horsequest and Horse Deals. I tend to avoid the Horse & Hound site as there is not enough room on their ads for vendors to put much detail.

I've had allot of interest from my ads when they have been on Preloved and it's free to advertise. I have sold my lad now (from being on Preloved) but my next stop would have been Horsemart.

Horse quest... Even though I actually don't like the way their site is set up. A friend just sold two through there. Where as my other friend didn't get one call from horse mart.

I was just about to ask this so thanks OP for beating me to it! I've advertised through Horse Deals in the past and never had any luck through it at all. I advertised on HorseQuest not long ago and got 3 calls, but none of them serious. I think I'll try HorseMart soon, hadn't thought of them. There's so many nowadays, its hard to know who to go with. Horse Deals and HorseQuest wasn't cheap either!! H&H is too expensive.

I always used horsemart, horsedeals, H&H, horsehunter when looking for new neddys :)

Don't like horsequest as you can't search easily. Have also looked on Horse select but always forget about it!

Totally agree Horse Quest isn't user friendly and during my horse searching time I avoided it. I'd agree and say Horsemart and Horse Deals along with H&H are the most popular.
