Which Wellies??? Help pls

I think you got unlucky my le chameaus are hands down best wellies ever so soft and dont get sucked off. I wear with fluffy socks in. Failing that farmers swear by agile ones! - anything but hunters they dont stand up to hard work
im sure i probably did, but once bitten and all that, plus i have quite flat wide feet, and realised quite quickly that i couldn't get another pair of socks on as well, so my feet were cold when it was minus temps, the Aigle are wider in the foot so probably better for me.

Know the feeling we're all different shapes. Id love to wear these lovely country boots but my fat calves have other ideas cant get my feet into them - very annoying!

I need advice please, after years of buying various different pairs of wellington boots only for them to spring leaks and split after much deliberation and listening to all the hype I bit the bullet and bougth Le Chameau's on 29th December, they are uncomfortable on longer walks, my toes freeze in minus temps (i was advised not to buy the neoprene ones as they would be too warm), and to cap it all they have a very slow ingress of water, so after much back and forth they have now agreed to replace or if I prefer have a refund.

So now on the look out for wellies that are up to the job, am considering the Aigile Parcours, or am i wasting my money here too?

All I want is for a pair of boots, that are waterproof, flexible but also supportive for longer walks, ok for mucking out in and turning out in, and if not neoprene lined, wide enough that if needs be I can also get a thicker pair of socks on with them.

I’ve been a long term term lurker on this forum and rarely posted but I think this is may be worth a shout out!!!

A quick heads up for Racefield (used to be called Hound) wellies on wellies.com. For some unaccountable reason they have decided to stop stocking these.

I bought my then Hound wellies in 2019 and have worn them in colder weather ever since for dog walking (at least 2-4 miles most days) and they are still perfect. They are comfortable, very good for walking (recommended by I think the Ramblers or similar organisation for walking) and are now selling at 80% off. I can’t comment on them for yard work but at just over £20 now well worth a gamble. There are different styles, including neoprene (like mine) and jersey lined.

They are the most comfortable and long lasting wellies I have ever had! I’ve no connection with the company, just very happy with my wellies and very sad that they are being discontinued. Hope this helps!

Well so I'm a cheap 'n cheerful purchaser of welly boots!

Have just found a hole in my bog-standard cheap-as-chips black Dunlop wellies; they've lasted me through the last two winters - and cost me about £12.99 from Sports Direct if I recall.

You deffo need to put soles in them to make them wearable, but that's a small price to pay.

I wear Grubbs Frostline for everything, muck out, riding, walking, driving.
