Which wormers is everyone using just now?

Mine get done with Equimax every spring and autumn, and usually Equest roundabout now and December on advice from the vet. Can i use Eraquell instead of the Equest? Thanks

I never worm without an egg count done by my vets. Most often they do not need worming therefore saving money and unnecessary drugs. You will have to do them for tapeworms once a year though, but I take the vets advice on this.

Why? Eraquell is perfectly fine to use just now. Depending on how long OP has been using this particular program.

Why not speak to your vet or local SQP for advice.

You could use Eraquel but why worm if you don't need to? If everyone keeps on giving interval based wormers there will soon be no effective doses left for when we need them.

A worm count based programme is cheaper and easier anyway. I don't understand why some people still stick with the old ways?
