I have a Ifor 510, if money were no object, I wouldn't work and therefore would have time for another youngster to bring on and therefore would have the time to make use of a nice lorry!!
Batesons are brilliant. The Ascot especially. Way better than any other trailer IMO so Id just have another! Although I would quite like to try an EquiTrek just for the living area...!
I have a Bateson, you couldn't pay me to have an Ifor, hateful things. I wouldn't mind an Equitrek but they are massive so I would go for a small lorry instead!
my pegasus was fantastic.
i only sold it because a pony i had couldnt travel in a trailer.
it retained its price well and never had a fault and it was really light and airy for the horses.
I've got an equitrek with living because I didn't want another 'engine' to MOT, tax etc. Also I wanted something I could use 'in situ' at the stables. Its lovely to have space to put my tack out of the tack room, make a cuppa, or even stay over if I want too (lovely in the summer).
Like Weezy, I have never been a fan of IW's, hate the horrid rubber swinging partition with a vengeance (nasty accident with one of those once)
I have always had Rice trailers of one description or another, and the last one was an ancient, but oh, so solid Lamborne.
We are looking at trailers at the moment, this one is typical of those you will see at shows (very few horse lorries seen in these parts) I think it may be a little more than I need.......size, and price wise!
It is rather large Enfys! Have you seen then post about the horses in the over turned trailer? (don't look if you are upset easily) Looks like one of those!
