Horse hasn't been ridden since Thursday, pulled a muscle and was slightly uneven behind in trot. He's much better now so I plan to ride today in walk for a short session.
I have two options:
1. Ride in the school - safer but will include turns (I wouldn't make him do circles though, just changes of rein on the outside track).
2. Ride on the road - very straight BUT risk of heavy (arctic) traffic (spooking) and he's not been ridden since thursday/been hacked out for two weeks.
I'm thinking the road would be best and chances are we'd be fine but I don't want to cause any issues if he spooked
