Which XC boots? Any ideas welcome!

So, the big lad is going to start a bit of eventing hopefully! :eek: I must be out of my mind!

Looking for a set of cross country/ eventing boots for all round. Now, normally I'm known for having a small boot fetish but I haven't got the foggiest when it comes to XC boots?! :confused: He's Selle Francais so got a little bit of bone

Heard some great reports on Dalmar but a few saying they're awful... Also quite liking the looks of the Premier Equine ones but honestly not too sure what I'm looking for :P

Any help welcome, thanks in advance! :)
 
I am an Eskadron fan but my sister got some Woof Wear eventing boots couple of yers back (ironically just before her horse decided to do himself a tendon injury so couldn't compete! :) ) They look very smart and were fairly reasonably priced
 
Premier Equine, I have 2 sets they have been used on several horses for 3 years now, they do keep the tendons cool, very pleased with them and will buy again when required.
 
I bought Woof Wear xc boots and they were awful - difficult to get snug enough that they didn't spin around and when wet just held all the water and wrinkled down. Now have the N.E.W airoflowboots - fit lovely, water drains straight out, legs stay cool and stay put. Highly recommended.
 
Prolites all the way although I do use premier equine ones and so far have been very pleased with those too (I use the BL1 air cooled ones)

Oh, I do like the Prolites as well - the large were just a bit too big for our 16.1hh horse though so they'd probably be good for something with a lot of bone. I had some tendon boots many years back I loved but then had to admit they were actually too big for my horse so I sold them to a friend to use on her 17hh ID and they fitted really well!
 
Premier equine - just got some and really impressed, I got the air cooled ones and also pe customer service is fantastic I ordered 27th dec and they arrived less than 24hrs later
