I am looking for XC boots for my 14.2hh pony. She has very fine legs so I think it may be hard to find something that is a good fit. My first stop was PE but their event boots only come in horse sizes. Any suggestions for alternatives? Air cooled if possible. Thanks

Premier Equine. The air cooled boots now come in XS. Mine has S which are a little big, so my bigger lad will have them and I will get her XS.

Mine wears S woof boots day to day

Thanks, so they do. I am not sure why the link I was looking at earlier showed only medium and large. Are you happy with the boots generally CrazyMare?

I really stuggled to find any good ones for my 13.3 PBA :( They were all either too long with the smalls designed for normal height TBs or too wide as more suited to a 14.2 MW.

Yes, they did take a few uses and a wash or two to become that little bit more malleable and easy to use.

They wash well and mine aren't showing any damage after 2 years

I could, and I suspect that is what I will end up doing. I was just hoping to get something with a bit more robust all-round protection.

I go XC and hunting in brushing boots, and personally find them very protective & robust (have protected her from minor injury out hunting a few times). But I can understand if your pony's legs are 'delicate' or prone to injury, then yes, you may want event boots.
