I was given the details of Keystone Rivallino at the weekend, as he is currently standing where I keep my mares in Bucks. I went in with him and he is an absolute sweetie! Very nice stallion indeed.
Sire is Rosentau, grandsire Rubenstein - 1999 year of birth though.
We have a yearling colt by Rubin Star N, who my none horsey neighbours can handle with ease. He is extremely quiet but still has a spark! Waiting on a full brother/sister any time now!
There is also a lovely young coloured Rubinstein grandson standing at stud in Wales....he is by the Rubinestein son Rubicell and out of a Granatnik mare. He is only a 4 yr old but is being presented for grading later this year. He is called Rubicolor and this is him: http://www.vagelloron-stud.co.uk/Rubicolor.htm
Fergal_Sharky how is the colt doing these days. when will the mare foal down when is her due date. she always goes 2 weeks over doesn't she. keep us posted
I had a 3yo by Rivallino in to back last year and you couldnt have wanted a nicer temperament, a total saint and talented too. I now own his dam and she will be bred back to Keystone Rhondeo next year as I like how the combination of bloodlines worked.
Romanno Ruinart, is a 4yr old stallion & got a 10 for his trot & won a very competitive shearwater young horse qualifier last month. He's ridden by Tim Sevillis so I assume he's standing at Court Farm Stud?
My boy is by RubenStar N. Bought him as a 4yr old, now 8. Bought at 16.3 and now 17.2 - but that doesnt bother me as he has a temperament to die for. Is so well behaved, obvioulsy has normal horsey quirks, spooking at a blade of grass sometimes, but so laid back and friendly, loves kisses and cuddles and so good to train as well.
Benetton Dream - ( Brentano II - Rotspon) - 3 yr old Champion Hanoverian stallion, 30 day test Champion & Bundeschampion & has just won a qualifier again for this year as a 5 yr old. http://www.flaxlion.com/index.php?page=benetton-dream
I have had 3 colts by RubinStar N, two in 2008 and one this year. All different mares, all easy, lovely boys with stunning looks and paces! Would definitely recommend!
Hi Tikino, Our mare was "due" on tues and had a beautiful colt foal at her usual 4am slot this morning! Think he's going to be very dark, has two perfectly matching back socks and a little smudge on his face. He was up on his feet really quickly and is now cantering around the stable like a mad man! Mum is well, so absolutely delighted.
