Whie/yellow discharge in mare

My mare had dried splashes of what I can only describe as (pale yellow tipex) on her back legs. Its on her fillet strap also quite thickly. Her vulva looks normal but you can see she has been disharging. I have never seen this in a mare before. She is 7 and runs with 6 other mares. I would say that she has put on a lot of weight in the last couple of weeks due to the spring grass. She seems happy in herself. Thoughts please? x

My mare gets this when she is in season, it always stops within a few days. Its not discharge in her case though its when she is flirting with the other horses around her and squirts at them,. When I first noticed it the vet was coming to do her jabs and said there was nothing to worry about it is quite common. It is to do with the hormmones (sp) apparently!!!

At least it's only on her back legs - I don't like it when my geldings bodies and shoulders become covered in my dirty mares gooey messes. The geldings don't seem to mind though
