with me kicking her on like I was at Pony Club

Currently she is doing 1 hours work a day - hills, and level trotting alternated by school work twice a week. She is on excellent grass and haylage - and is fed the following Bailey's racehorse mix, sunflower seeds and Alfa whatsit (the one in the yellow bag!) and NAF liquid blood. Suggestions please, she looks fantastic but just takes life at her own pace, slowly

Is the race horse mix the oat based one?
I gave the normally laid back K, who gets oats, Baileys all round endurance mix on their reccomendation............. it sent him crazy, so much so I had to stop feeding it. Might be worth a try?

Have you tried phoning various companies and getting their advice. check out the websites and read up on the nutrition values for fibre, protein, energy etc.

That's interesting as we feed Baileys No. 6 (endurance mix) to virtually all of the show horses because it gives them slow releasing energy and there is also lots of oil in it which gives them very shiny coats. Certainly doesn't fizz ours up, as we don't want our show horses to be fizzy! I think one horse found it disagreed with him, but the rest all have it.

Have you spoken to Top Spec - they would be your best bet I think, Pamela.
