I bought a second cheap washing machine. Cost me £220 in a sale for a 9 kg drum which easily fits smaller rugs in (fleeces etc)
saves the o/H moaning sprees and has been worth its weight in gold. My grooming kit and everything go's in.

I use a wash bag. Pillow cases or duvet covers work well too if u tie the end up

I got mine from TK Maxx, so if you come across one, get it! It takes hair off anything (as well as lint, bits of fluff etc.)
