Thank you, yes I did mean more dog orientated people come onto this forum, lots of knowledgable people with a lot of contacts, lets face it my dog was lost or stolen I wouldn't contact a local equine rescue, I would contact the local dog rescue as they are more likely to hear about dogs.
Not to say reporting it on the other forum wasn't also a good idea, but both would have been better, another couple of people who have reported STOLEN dogs on the STOLEN HORSES forum have always been thankful and placed a message on the dogs forum so that the people on the dogs forum that go to shows, training, dog walking etc also know about it and keep and eye out.
From the other forum the dog has now been reunited with it's owner.
 
Glad the dog has been found, but don't think the tone of your post was necessary. As stated far more doggy people come on here than the stolen forum, I for one wouldn't have known about the dog had it remained just on there, and if necessary was prepared to post details on my fb (I am just over Cheshire border) and have friends who breed and show whippets so my help might just have been useful had it been needed.
