Whippet pups - any ideas on names pls?

Collected up my 8 week old pups on Friday - but seem to be having a mental block when thinking up names.
They are both girls, from the same breeder but not the same litter. They were very shy to start with as not "home reared" and only just now starting to show a little bit of their characters.
The black one is very nervous / timid but also very sharp, the brindle one is braver and much more outgoing.

I quite like short names - their predecessor who was PTS in March was called Bo (Beau)

Any ideas for names? atm they are Pup 1 and Pup 2 on their vaccination cards - seems like I don't care

Although my neighbour has a blue whippet X called Mole and a horse called Mouse, could be interesting when either of us is calling them in

Keep them a week before you name them, then they will name themselves. We had poppy for about 4 days before we finally decided on Poppy. Now she has about 5 names, Doodlebug, doodles, buglet, poppy doodle. She answers to them all and they all suit her

Thanks for the suggestions - I need all the help I can get - its really difficult to name two
 
They are really gorgeous, but then I am an absolute sucker for all things whippety.

How about whoppity and doodle,

Tara and Naomi - skinny, long leggy and one blonde, one black
(as in tara palmer tompkinson and naomi campbell)

Mouse and Sweep

Minnie and Sweep

Minnie and sooty
 
OOOHHH, they are gorgeous. Lucky you.

I like 'pretty' names for whippets so how about
Daisy and Dellila
Or you could go for 'speed' names like
Whizz, Snap or Skip.

Not very good I'm afraid, I have about couple of good 'dog' names but it took me ages to name both my bitches.
 
I like Mouse and Florence - friend has two whippets Fudge and Alfie - Fudge is fudge coloured, obviously! and Alfie is blue? and white.

Beautiful puppies, real sweeties!
 
I'm really taken with the names Mouse & Florence as they can be Mo & Flo (which is similar to my old dog - Bo) and have been testing them out this week, they seem to suit the girls.

I agree that Mouse and Florence are nice names if you decide to use them. I love whippets. Mine is called Lucy and I think she needs a little friend so I am feeling all "maternal" now I've seen your two gorgeous girlies!
