Whippets

Hi. Wondering if any whippet owners have had stomach and/or bowel problems. One of mine has had bowel spasms. She's Uncomfortable but no sickness or diarrhea. Wears off after a bit but just concerned. She's raw fed.

I've not. I find mine really robust stomach wise. The lurcher came with stomach issues that the vet couldnt fix but they went away once we changed to raw. So no help really but it does bump this up for others to see.

Only when his food brand changed the composition to include pea protein, and after about a month, he had a very poorly night, and about three days of very upset stomach.
Up till then, lots of reluctance to eat his food, and stretching after eating. I keep ProMax One a Day on standby, and he also can't tolerate too much fat (like lamb based food).

I have had whippets for years and find that on the whole they are very robust but some can have sensitive digestive systems. What does the diet you are feeding consist of?
What does your vet suggest?
