At the risk of starting an uproar or debate 
as the title suggests what do you think? Are whisperers any good?
Had one out to my mare today and some of it was twaddle but some of it was frighteningly accurate, and he had never met her or me before and didnt know anything about her
I am a cynic but dare i say it was quite impressed
