Just wondering if anyone may be able to help.
Horse has had front shoes off for about a month now, hinds have been off for well over a year, possibly never even had any on.
I had a good look at her hooves over the weekend, and all seems to be ok, apart from one small area near one of the toes.
It was a whitish patch, that seemed to hurt when it was pressed. Might sound really, really thick, but any ideas what it might be?
I did wonder if it was thrush, but it didn't appear to be smelly, but I'm not putting my nose right up to hoof in case I get kicked!
I can get a photo tomorrow.
